In the movie Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Charles Gray) owns a Philips L6X38 T Transworld de Luxe Antoinette radio. The radio can be seen clearly on Blofeld's desk in his office on the oil rig when he listens to a news broadcast about the nuclear explosions in North Dakota and Russia that Blofeld himself created.

The L6X38 T Transworld de Luxe Antoinette radio was built by Dutch electronics company Philips from 1965 - 1969. The radio measures 370 x 260 x 120 mm (14.6 x 10.2 x 4.7 inch), weighs 6 kg (13.216 lb), uses 6 1,5 volt batteries, and has a stand on which it can be turned around.

Philips L6X38 T Transworld de Luxe Antoinette radios can sometimes be found online at eBay.

Blofeld apparently prefers Philips equipment, since he also uses a Philips N2205 tape recorder with Philips C90 tape in the same film.

Bond Lifestyle is featuring several products from Dutch technology company Philips to celebrate the launch of the Dutch language Bond Lifestyle website.
